Comparative benchmarking visits to Germany have been organized in 7-11 August 2017 to
carry out international benchmarking studies associated to the 9 priority sectors in the TR33 region.
The Germany visit consisted of Participants from 10 SMEs and ZDA along with 2 representatives of TAT. They visited companies and institutions in the Baden-Württemberg region including automotive manufacturer Mercedes Benz GmbH Museum, fabricated metal manufacturing, at Metal Art GmbH and GSW Maschinenbau GmbH, tool making with Walter Tools GmbH and packaging machine making with Harro Höflinger, wood processing with Keck Holz GmbH and food industry with BIRKAN Food Company GmbH. In addition, the participants held briefing sessions with chambers of commerce and industry and representatives from the Baden-Württemberg cluster.
